Groups gear up to aid the animals
The New Hampshire Federation of Humane Organizations recently announced a new initiative that will see more than 10 independent animal welfare agencies join together in a statewide adopt-a-thon event the weekend of Sept. 17-19 to find homes for the animals currently awaiting adoption.
