Interferon and Feline Leukemia?
My 5 month old Lily was just diagnosed with FeLV today. The doctors gave me Interferon to give to her once a day daily.
I wanted to know if any of you exactly how that helps out my kittens leukemia symptoms? I tried researching but doesn’t give specifics for felines, just humans
It is in short, an immunity booster. There is controversy over how well it works…if at all. It does not seem to HURT, so it is worth using since it can have benefits. I had a FeLV positive cat on it for seven years. How knows if that is what kept her healthy for all that time. You can never know. I had another FeLV kitten that only lived a month. It really depends on the cat.
