Feline Miliary Dermatitis treatment? Asking once again?

My cat has a horrible case of Feline Miliary Dermatitis. He is really suffering. I tried the treament the vet suggested (baby shampoo and oatmeal baths) and the poor guy isntr responding to anything. I am feeding him ProPlan for sensetive skin and he isa lot happier because of his new diet (it really has made a difference in his disposition) but nothing is easing the scabbing and drainage.
He also gets fish oil and a small can of Fancy Feast (he loves the stuff, its the only wet food he wants)
Please someone have some real ideas on how to treat him?
He is an ADSH black cat 13 years old.
Please please help
And he is the world’s best cat. I love him to death!

Add a teaspoon of olive oil, sardine oil, or herring oil to his wet food (all are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which are anti-inflamitory and help build collagen to heal skin). You can gradually increase the dose to 3 teaspoons (which equals one tablespoon). If this regimen doesn’t do the trick, see a vet!
