Is Feline Infectious Peritonitis always fatal if cat not currently showing symptoms?
She just got a positive test result. Does this mean she has FIP or has just been exposed to it?
The so called test for FIP is CRAP! It does not say a cat has FIP, it only says a cat has been exposed to a corona virus (which most cats have been). There is no way to tell if the specific corona virus will mutate and no way to tell if it will mutate into FIP. I wouldn’t worry unless your cat is showing signs/symptoms of FIP. I hate that vets even run a so called “test” for FIP it only scares the crap out of the owners.
