Feline Acne?
My cat had a lil bump under his chin so we brought him to the vet.. who told us that he is at an early stage of feline acne… now my cats wearing a cone so he doesnt scratch and make it worse. Today i noticed that now he has a bump on the top of his head too. Between his ears. Online i have been searching for info. about feline acne and it only seems to be common under the chin, or on the tale.
Could the vet have been wrong? is it something else? could a cat get acne on their head too? just tryin to figure out what is wrong with my kittie, i have an appt. with the vet in a week but i am jus curious and worried.

Here is more info on it. Its also called Pyoderma. Don’t let it scare you looking it up though cause there is different levels of Pyoderma from mild to severe. My dog has it now and yes it is common on the head. My Great Dane has it on his head and back. We started out just watching it it but it got worse and now he is on antibiotics and a special shampoo and doing great so if it spreads don’t be alarmed it is easily treated with medication.
